Hi Guys,
I write today to ask for your help. A close friend and colleague has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant. From what the doctors have told us, the transplant itself seems like a relatively simple process - pretty much like a blood donation. However, the common perception that bone marrow transplants are painful makes it difficult to find donors. In this blog I have summed up the exact requirement, and I request you to spread this message to as many people as you can - through email, Orkut, Facebook - anything you have at your disposal.
If you want to help out, please, please leave me a COMMENT ON MY BLOG (RAMKAPOOR.BLOGSPOT.COM) WITH YOUR NAME, EMAIL AND MOBILE NUMBER. You could also mail it to ram.writes@gmail.com.
If your blood group is A Positive, and if you are below 50 years of age, you could be a match. What's important is that you need to be willing to donate bone marrow. Like I said earlier, modern technology has made the process itself simple and almost exactly like a blood donation. Once we have your contact, we will arrange for a simple blood test to find if you are a match. When the bone marrow match is confirmed by the doctors, we will arrange for the transplant of the marrow itself, which will happen in Vellore, Chennai, India. The patient's family will arrange for all expenses to be paid. All they need is 2 days of your time (one, to travel to Chennai, and one, for the transplant itself).
The operation could happen anytime after the 10th of July, 2008. Need your help friends. The more people we reach out to, the more chances we have of finding a donor. Forward this message to everyone you can and hopefully, we can help a family in their hour of need. Please come forward guys and try and help save a life.

hey ram, this is a crazy person who has been your fan from the days when your serial nyay was on... i was too small then, but after that seeing your work on ghar ek mandir and then on a few other works on sony. And my god in Monsoon wedding, the single appearance was enough... Kasamh Se is an addiction more than probably a doped person. Hi Ram,
Cancer is one of the most painful diseases not only for the one suffering but for the family of that person too. I am speaking from experience coz I watched my mother fight it for a year and eventually succumb to it. That was 5 years ago and it was the most traumatising experience for me I was 22 then.
I speak from the heart when I say I am touched by your concern for your friend. I wish and pray he /she recovers and goes ahead to live for many many years. Its touching that you care so much so as to use your resources to help out. Having gone through the experience I pray that the patients family have strength and courage and do emerge winners and fight the cancer.
My blood group is not A+ but I will try and pass the message out to as many people as I know.
Have faith and pass the same onto your friend .. having faith helps find strength and that is some part of the battle won.

Sorry for posting again. But totally forgot my Ma is A+. But she has some health problems & she's 46/47.
She's suffering from problems lyk- high BP, vertigo & problems related to these so I'm not sure she can help or not. But will definitely consult her doctor & let you know.

Agree with the previous writer about KS; it is just going downhill again with this revenge story taking for ever and the new generation not likeable at all. Writers must be aware no-one really likes even idea of yucky-Vicky being JW's son, but he has obviously slept with Psycho to assume that he IS his. Evil always has longer days & more musti than Good in E(ee)K's serial. Pnt/B is irritating with her mahaanta- she can't even say a bad word against yucky-Vicky's cowardice. JW doesn't even TRY to make Gng behave in more civil manner. Just how many months are they going to drag this story of revenge before we actually SEE the revenge??? Can JW come up with some intelligent schemes to outwit Psycho - since he has spent 25 yrs with her he should be able to do that??? We want him to find out truth about what happened to B - the character of B deserved that much at least. After today's epi, I feel like going infront of Kali Ma and saying 'if you punish this Devi, B, for absolutely nothing with constant, long separations and horrid comments, what hope have us mere mortals'??

I agree with Polly to some extend, with Bani you had child in one episode but here over two months Meera is still hanging around...anyway the sending of Meera to jail was childish, the same inspector going in and out of Walia Mansion doesn't recognise Meera, that too a business woman to reckon with and catches her like a petty thief, not insulting enough for the crimes Meera has done...philhal I am not here to analyse the episode but to inform you that your show is no where in the top 20 list of TRPs which you should be worried about as you are so committed and once again the creatives have turned Jai Walia into a show piece, even as they show brother - sister feeding each other in jail, it no longer pulls our heartstrings, as we cannot connect with Gen X, Pronita's methods of revenge are too amaturish, it is only Jai Walia who can pull up the TRPs. Please ask the creatives to pull up their socks and write something for him, for a change....regards, Tinni

As for the serial, I am enjoying it, only thing is, I would want the creatives to make Jai Walia more involved with Pronita in the planning and revenge.
As for the TRPs, I am sure that more than us, you would be knowing a better picture. I sometimes feel that the two systems of TRP measurement, Amap and Tam are vastly different. Are the TRPs actually giving a true picture?

as for KS concern,the show is just a 'sick drama' right now.
i truly hated this 16 yeasr leap.but KS is all about leaps and blooper and JW's kids with different women.
creatives aren't dong any justice to this much awaited leap also.it almost more then 2 months but there is no connection between Jai-pronita still,no connection between Kids-pronita.
pronita's revenge turned into a cheap comedy.JW is doing nothing. creatives have proved again & again that JW only knows marrying or produsing kids .
and the biggest diappointment of the show is Vickey's character.Meera had killed JW's kids and Meera having a kid with Jai after killing two innocent kids is just sick and disgusting.it is just too hard to digest and i cannot accept Vicky no matter if creatives make him super possitive or even that vickey kills meera too.
