Hi Guys,
First of all, thank you for the overwhelming response to my previous blog. Of all the mails and comments I received in the last week, we've found several people with the right blood group (A +ve), willing to donate. I seriously wasn't expecting such a response. People wrote in from all over the world, sending my friend wishes and even spreading the word. It has been an experience that has touched and moved me.
Now - as for the actual donation, that's still about a week to 10 days away from happening. As soon as we have a fix on the exact date of the transplant, I will contact those who have come forward to offer their help. More donors are always welcome. (For those who came in late, please read my last post titled "Need your help". If you too are A+ve, and want to help, drop me an email at ram.writes@gmail.com.

I wish I could have helped but I'm not A+. I hope that your friend will recover very soon. My cousin has been in remission for over 25 years now after being diagnosed with leukemia at 3 years old. Sadly we just found out that she has a brain mass which is benign but she needs surgery to have it removed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend and I would love if your fans could also pray for my cousin.

I pray that your friend and cousin recover soon from their illness. I lost my father to leukemia too. He died within a couple of days of knowing that he has the disease. He just lost his will to live as I think that he did not want his family to go through pain.
So I pray to God to give them the courage through this ordeal and for their fast recovery.

Good to know there is hope - it's the only thing, along with faith, which keeps you going in times such as these. It kept my father going for 2 yrs.

u know when you had the back pain? I was one of those who said don't take too many pain killers. Well, I've changed my mind! Having injured shoulder/arm and being a total theet, I took minimum ibuprofen. A week later, the whole arm is still in pain - traumatised, I've been told. So now I have to take these cos they are also anti-inflammatory plus antibiotics. So much for being a smartass!
You know you never answer any questions regarding the show. What's the reason? What do you make of the promos, etc of new Mahabharat? Looks very stylish and slick, doesn't it? SBS showed location in Ladakh - quite awesome! Want to go there one day.

Hello Shri Ram Kapoor, I think you should loose some weight. I would say your body is bordering on being obese. That condition brings on a whole lot of health probles. You can be selective in what you eat, drink lots of water, get rid of soft drinks and anything sugary, don't drink alcohol,and just move your body man, otherwise you will have to deal with lots of medical health problems. Being obese also makes you look older then you are. May be you should diet and exercise at the same time. Seriously, you kind of start to look much older then you are in that TV show kasam see which I would say is a total waste of time just like almost all other Indian TV shows and bollywood movies. No stories or plagarized stories, bad acting(modeling is not acting), dull music and bad lyrics, mediocre singers(where are you Rafi, Kishore and Mukesh, I miss you guys! specially Rafi - Zindage mele har baras lagee par afsoos hum na hongee!). I would say nowdays only once in while a good movie comes on. Where are you manohj Bajpai - your acting is authentic.
As for "aap ka saroor" singer - get a life. You are embarassing. You can't sing, your voice is bad, and that baseball cap you wear on your bald head does no good to your image. You are arrogant also as I saw you giving point sto singer sin that Zee tv show - sa ree ga ma pa. get out of this entertainment business man, you have no talent.

I just read that your friend has succombed to blood cancer. I am really sorry to hear that and I am surprised that the stage of cancer he had was so far along that he could not be helped.
Even still, I think that your effort, and the efforts of your colleagues to help your friend is still commendable. The heartache of losing a friend must be there- I have lost a few during my years, and I am still in my early twenties... Its always hard, and never easier, to lose ones you care for.
Thanks for your effort. I am sure that your friend is smiling down from above, resting happy knowing that his friends cared about him just that much that they went to all lengths to save him. Ones life is measured by, not the number of friends, but the quality of them. And having a friend like you obviously made his life fruitful and happy.

Perhas nithi is pretty ordinary looking or just ugly. I would sasy there is only 1 Indian women out of say 1000 Indian women who I can say is okay looking. Honestly most Indian women are not pretty. Has anyone seen pictures of aishwarya rai when She was 17-18. Makeup did play ia big part in changing of her apperance. And perhaps fair and lovely also. They all use it to change their skin color.

JW a real drunk! Wish he could be shown as being of strong character too with ability to out-manouevre Psycho without being totally dependent on Pnt/B. Otherwise, interesting. Still like to see some of the viewers' ideas incorporated into storyline.

Told you, people can't tolerate JW being 'unfaithful' to B again (having been drugged and bedded by Pagal Panga Pia previously) he married and remained with this evil Psycho for 25yrs, having a child with her!
JW is made bevakoof of time after time (recently Psycho getting him drugged via his alcohol and duping him into her bed - doesn't he learn?) Where's the charm in that? certainly no akal shown in that at all. There used to be something innocent, pure about that relationship which attracted viewers such as myself, but since arrival of Psycho, it's like we're watching a totally different serial. Just can't gel with idea of grown up kids either - loved the younger Ganga and the lovely, cute Atharve/Krishna. Pallvi Subhas is a great actress but her character is awful - as bad as PPPia. Out of all of them, Jigs still had qualities wich made her likeable - except after driving B out of house and accepting Psycho. TGhen, she became evil rather than just nasty sometimes. REally miss Ash and her comic scenes with Adi/Dadi. Wasn't Rano's son 'challenged' in some way? All this 'khoon khoon ki pukar..' stuff doesn't work.
Will this Pnt/B character turn out to be false - like Juhi (???) in Kyunki???

I think kasam Se currently is not so bad. Its just that there is no connection with the original one.
The original cute story about Jai Bani is over after Prachi left or may be when Pallavi came in as Mrs' Jai Walia.After marrying some one other than Bani "our Jai Walia" is lost. Some how can't connect with him like before. Now its Ram kapoor whom I watch for . But earlier it used to be both. Jai Walia's khushi or gum used to touch my heart. Now it is " wow Ram has done good job. And I don't don't see it as Jai Walia."
There are some people who are still connected with the show get upset with Vicky, Jai Walia being drugged & almost raped again.But for me it doesn't bother me any more as this is not the show called Kasam Se which was close to my heart.
Sometimes it makes me sad when I remember how much crazy I used to be. Now its a show about two women, one stupid family & nonexistent male protogonist. Creative just use Mr. Ram Kapoor's talents when they think TRPs are dipping.Its ok ifu happen to watch but don't feeel like dropping evrything to watch it.

this is the first time i am wrtiting in your blog.i am biggest fan of you. but i am very-very disappointed with the current story-line of KS.after PD's exit i was watching show only for you.you are hardly in the show.JW has no scope.JW is just puppet of both wives.JW's charcater is just pathetic now and only watching show for RK not JW..but now it seem that main lead of the show is Meera and Vickey. and i HATE both charcater.whenever they come on screen i chang the channel.
The biggest disappoinment of this Leap is Vickey,son of Jai-meera.Meera has killed Jai's kids and Jai has a son with her.

Hope JW is going to be shown using intelligence soon - like when Pagal Panga Pia was making a move on him whilst B trying to save him from his own odious family, he kept rejecting her advances. We liked that - he was loyal and akalmund. Great till he went and got duped & drugged into her bed and fathered illegitimate child!
At moment, Pnt is making all the decisions and moves whilst he is hapless victim of both women. Guess too much to expect that writers are making JW character do some independent thinking to find out who Pnt is, and how to outwit Psycho - he is supposed to have lived with the woman for 25 yrs so must know something that will help!

Hey SBS went to Ladakh with Rajiv Khandelwal; he's not my type but I certainly have a lot more respect for him after watching these epis. I like the fact that he enjoys visiting different places in India itself - me too - and he enjoys photography - me too. Where would YOU take the SBS team if you could choose? What are your hobbies apart from your laptop? What's Gautami's new serial going to be called? Who else will star in it?

I was not able to watch KS for a few days,as I had an exam coming up,but i have saved all the episodes and will be watching them.From what my friend told me,KS is doing well.I was a bit out of touch because of the exams,but i will be back in form soon:)

Farhan Akhtar is just few months younger( jan 1974 Vs Sep 73) than you. Saw a photo of him with Prachi & they don't look like odd couple. I know in Kasam Se the age difference between Jai Bani was one of the attraction why this pair was so hit.
But looking at that picture I thought that if you get back in shape you & Prachi can do a show where you are regular pair & not odd couple like kasam Se.

Your wives - the first one who wants to take all your money, looks the same age as your 3 children. All of your 3 children don't know how to act. The fat chubbby talkative daughter looks ugly with facial pock marks when she wears minimal makeup. The facial pock marks show. She is not pretty. The younger daughter looks ugly even with make up. Bani - the hooked nose first wove of yours, is peddling advertisements (on cable) of a con man who goes by name of "Ajmeri baba". She should be ashamed of herself. She is neither pretty nor knows show to act. her hooked nose eagle look is a turn off.
As for you, you are an obese person, who knows a little bit more about acting then the rest of no talent actors, all ZEE TV dramas have. You are just a little bit better then most of them. Honestly, you need to loose weight.

Will Maasi and Jigs ever reappear? How many times will Psycho try to kill Pnt/B before she is herself killed off (AS FOR EVER AS IT CAN EVER BE IN AN EK SERIAL)????
Went to see an absoltely brilliant concert of Sonu Nigam singing a tribute to Mohammad Rafi with the backing of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The combination of the hindi singing with the western musicians was great and I don't think there was a single person who didn't enjoy the experience. Apart from western music, do you have any favourites among the indian singers??

Good to see Yucky-Vicky owning up to his gunna and hatred for his own mother, Psycho. At least this moves the story on a bit. However, still cannot like the character because he is product of Psycho and JW. Maybe it's a woman thing, but still don't like character.

polly, you must be pretty ugly looking and consicious of it. So it must be hard finding a date for yourself. Thus you spend your time in watching these Crappy shitty Zee tv dramas where all women are bitchy, scheming and manipulative, just like you.
Ram, there is a pattern to these zee tv serials. It is the camera moving continously back and forth, background songs, uncreative, unrealistic story plots. Finally every serial has actors crying all the time. It is neither funny nor fun. I hardly see any pretty gals in any serial. Why are all these ladies plotting against each other?
I have been out of India since last 15 years. There must be a lot of changes now. But these Tv serials mirror what Indian society has become then I am glad that I made a good decision not to go back to India. I am also glad that I married my beautiful American wife. I have heard stories from my friends where these Indian women would marry to get the green card and then dupe their faithful husband by disapperaing with their Indian boyfriend.

Jai Walia at the age of 70 is only there to give Pronita lovey dovey looks, play a chauffeur and make the scene look filled in by his presence. Soon the creatives will have no dialogues for him and he will in turn do what Ranveer / Rashi and Rano have been doing all these while.
We appreciate you commitment to the serial but we are looking for something more worthy from you. Since you are hardly in the scenes now, not having much even if you are there, please take up something else so that we can get to see you in something worthwhile because with so many competition around, out of sight is out of mind...

Saw today's episode.July 17th.
I must say I am actually liking the new generation.Vicky's change of heart is a welcome change.The actor has picked up fast,and i am sure he will mellow down in days to come.Its his first time on screen (i think) so i guess he is doing a good job considering the situation he is in.
I guess when a show becomes mature,its necessary to add new faces,and have parallel tracks, and there is nothing wrong with it.I honestly feel that if i see JB romancing "all" the time,it might get redundant.I am going to welcome the new twists happily,because i am enjoying the 30 mins i see it,and then move on.I do not spend whole lot of time analysing this.
Till now,i have loved this track where JB has solved meera issue brilliantly,ie,in a light manner.I would have hated gory scenes,which thankfully, creatives spared us.
I disagree with most when they say that they want to see JW taking the revenge.Bani went through the trauma,and she has the right to the revenge.Who else can feel the pain she went through,So,its only fair.With JW with her,it becomes romantic too.So,i have only good things to say abt this show.
